Hectic!

So, the only reason I am updating my blog is because of my sister Katy, who is apparently very persistent. My life is pretty busy right now, I am in school taking 6 classes and also tutoring Math for my job. On the side I am also on a flag football team, competitive volleyball team, and every Wednesday I go to the assisted living home, where me and my friends have "adopted a grandparent". Also until the November 4th vote, every Thursday I go to the call center and make calls informing people about proposition 8 and talk to them about their opinions and vote. It is pretty scary and I get nervous, but after a while, it is actually really interesting. I always get the list of Democrats to talk to, so you can only imagine the answers or the opinions I get.
My weeks are busy, but that's what makes them go so fast! I have met a lot of fun new people and in every class I have friends, so you can only see how hard it is for me to pay attention...but I do. The end of this week is very busy because research papers and other papers are due, but ill live, after its over. The weather is getting cold and it snowed this week!! It has not snowed anymore this week, but it might as well be if its THIS cold. I do not know how I am going to handle the -23 degree weather and the frostbite warnings...only time will tell...
I really miss home, my family, and kevin a lot, but I get to talk to them often and i LOVE it!! It helps me not get too sick of it up here. My roommates are way fun and cute girls, we are crazy when we are all together, but that's normal. Sometimes we don't start our homework until 1 in the morning, but then we all just suffer together. bonding experience? ha ha
Okay katy, there you go. I will practice on updating my blog. my life is just too hectic right now. But ill be better at it!

She's Just a Small town girl

Yes, I am a true Californian, born and raised, then what the heck am I doing in Idaho?!
I have been going to BYU Idaho for two years now, which means I have been living in a town with a population of 17,000 (15,000 of that is our College). Rexburg. The only town in America where the population of Cows and farm animals exceeds the population of People by 75%, where it snows up to your knees until the middle of june, a town you can get across in less than 5 minutes. Now, how do I do it? one may ask, with my family and boyfriend over 14 hours away, things can get a little hard, Luckily I have been blessed with wonderful roommates and friends that have been made while up here in the wonderful state of Potatoes...
